Getting paid

Connect Stripe

Payments on Loopbuild go through Stripe. Go to Account settings → Payment methods and click Connect Stripe Account. Stripe verifies your business and collects your bank details; Loopbuild never sees them.

You can publish products before connecting Stripe, but you need a connected account to receive card payments.

When you are paid

1. The buyer pays when they place the order.
2. You confirm, ship and deliver the order.
3. When you mark the order as delivered, the payment for the items and delivery, minus the Loopbuild fee, is transferred to your Stripe account.
4. Stripe pays it out to your bank on your Stripe payout schedule.

The Loopbuild fee for each order is shown in the order breakdown.

Direct-payment requests

Some products are sold with direct payment: the buyer sends a purchase request, you accept it by paying a small request fee, and the buyer then pays you directly and sends you proof of payment in the chat. No further fee is taken on these orders.
